[Problem] To provide a cash processing device in which banknotes can be efficiently conveyed to a plurality of cassettes during a storage process. [Solution] A cash processing device provided with the following: a temporary accumulation unit in which first banknotes and second banknotes are temporarily accumulated; a first cassette that stores a set number of first banknotes; a second cassette that stores a set number of second banknotes; a conveyance unit that conveys first and second banknotes from the temporary accumulation unit to the first and second cassettes; a banknote-count determination unit that determines the number of first banknotes in the temporary accumulation unit; a storage determination unit that determines the storage state of first banknotes in the first cassette; and a conveyance control unit that, if the number of first banknotes in the temporary accumulation unit is less than or equal to the number of banknotes that can be stored in the first cassette, makes it such that conveyance of second banknotes to the second cassette continues even if first banknotes are conveyed to the first cassette until the first cassette has stored the abovementioned set number of first banknotes. |
