PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in-wheel motor unit which includes a mechanism for driving a pump for lubrication and nonetheless can be downsized .SOLUTION: An in-wheel motor unit 10 includes a counter gear 13b, a pin 15 and a rod 16 for a speed reduction mechanism 13. The pin 15 is provided in a location distant from the rotation center axis of the gear 13b. The rod 16 is rotatably connected to the pin 15 and swingably connected to a piston 14a2 of a pump 14a. More specifically, a crank mechanism for driving the pump 14a is comprised of the gear 13b, the pin 15, and the rod 16. As a result, the rod 16 uses space in the unit 10 to connect the pin 15 and the piston 14a2, which allows the pump 14a to be driven as the gear 13b rotates, resulting in downsizing of the in-wheel motor unit. |
