PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic component assembly such that a housing and a shield case can be easily and accurately positioned with a simple structure and degradation in shield performance by a large opening of a release hole can be prevented.SOLUTION: An optical connector 11 includes: a housing 13 that holds an optical transceiver 15 at a housing portion 57 at a housing rear portion; and a shield case 17 that is arranged to cover the housing 13 from the substrate opposing open portion side so that a case rear surface portion 35 is attached to a circumference of the housing 13 in a state of elastically energizing an electronic component to the housing portion 57 in the front. In the shield case 17, an engaging piece 51 is cut and raised obliquely toward the case rear surface portion 35. In the housing 13, a guide portion 61 is formed that guides the engaging piece 51 against an elasticity energization force of the case rear surface portion 35 along the attachment direction of the shield case 17. |
