The present disclosure is aimed at preventing washing water stored in a tub (4) from leaking to the outside thereof through a drainage unit (8) in the process of washing laundry. Disclosed herein is a laundry treating apparatus which includes a cabinet (2), a drawer (3) provided to be withdrawn from the cabinet, a drum (5) rotatably provided in a tub (4), a drainage pump (82) allowing the washing water in the tub to be discharged out of the tub, a connection passage through which the washing water discharged by the drainage pump (82) is guided out of the cabinet (2), and a connector (84) provided on an outer surface of the cabinet and communicating with the connection passage, wherein a connector outlet port (849) provided in the connector (84) is provided at a position higher than a connector inlet port (847) provided in the connector. |
