Embodiments of the present invention provide a resource scheduling method and a device. A wireless access point device includes: a first processing module, configured to determine uplink resource scheduling information according to information about station devices associated with the wireless access point device, where the uplink resource scheduling information includes an identifier of each of to-be-scheduled station devices, to-be-scheduled uplink resources, and locations of the to-be-scheduled uplink resources, the to-be-scheduled station devices are multiple devices in the station devices, the identifier is used to indicate that the station device is a device having uplink traffic with frequent small packets, and the uplink traffic with frequent small packets is a predefined service or a service in which a quantity of uplink small packets received by the wireless access point device per unit of time exceeds a preset threshold; and a first sending module, configured to send the uplink resource scheduling information determined by the first processing module to the to-be-scheduled station devices. According to the embodiments of the present invention, a wireless access point device schedules uplink resources for multiple station devices having uplink traffic with frequent small packets, thereby effectively reducing signaling scheduling overheads of uplink traffic with small packets. |
