The knitted fabric wale directions differ between the inner layer knitted fabric and the outer layer knitted fabric of the footwear, and/or the outer layer knitted fabric is provided with locations comprising a knitted structure 50 having holes and the inner layer knitted fabric on the inside of said locations comprises knitted structures 60, 80 having a lower elasticity than the inner layer knitted fabric in other locations. With respect to footwear provided with this knitted fabric having a double structure, differences in the elasticity between the lateral and longitudinal directions are reduced, or differences in the elasticity depending on the location in the footwear are reduced. |
