The invention relates to an adjustment device (V) for adjustment of a first seat part (R, S, U, K) of a vehicle seat (F) relative to a second seat part (S, R) of the vehicle seat (F) along an adjustment path, wherein a first toothed element (1) of the adjusting device (V), which is rotatable about a first axis of rotation, is associated with one of the seat parts (R, S, U, K), and a second toothed element (2) of the adjusting device (V), which meshes with the first toothed element (1), is associated with the other seat part (R, S, U, K), in order to adjust the first seat part (R, S, U, K) relative to the second seat part (S, R) during a rotation of the first toothed element (1). According to the invention, the first and second toothed elements (2, 1) each have toothings (20, 10) having a non-constant pitch circle diameter and/or operating pitch diameter which changes along the respective toothing (20, 10), such that a transmission ratio of the interengaging first and second toothed elements (2, 1) varies over the adjustment path (s) of the first seat part (R, S, U, K). |
