Disclosed is a diode polarity detection method, comprising: acquiring a detected image of a diode to be detected (S1); and respectively calculating difference values between the detected image and a pre-set first template figure and between the detected image and a second template figure, and determining the polarity direction of the template figure with a small difference value as the polarity direction of the diode to be detected, wherein the first template figure and the second template figure are diode figures with different polarity directions (S2). Correspondingly, also disclosed is a diode polarity detection device. By applying the method and the device, the accuracy of diode polarity detection can be increased. |
