A thermoelectric converter comprises a surface (20) intended to be heated, a thermoelectric generator (12) comprising first and second plates (16, 18) and a thermoelectric module (22) arranged between said plates (16, 18), the first plate (16) being positioned on the surface (20) intended to be heated; and a heat sink (14) for discharging heat by convection, said heat sink being positioned on the second plate (18) of the thermoelectric generator (12). For at least one predefined convection mode, the following equation is satisfied: (1) expression in which (A) is the convective thermal resistance of the surface intended to be heated, (B) is the conductive thermal resistance of the thermoelectric generator, and (C) is the convective thermal resistance of the heat sink. |
