An active-matrix organic light-emitting diode (AMOLED) display device and a luminance compensation method thereof. At an initial compensation stage, an image sensor can be used for luminance calibration of a display screen in order to obtain data voltage compensation values of various sub-pixels when a luminance parameter value of a display panel (11) is a set value, a first data voltage is output to the corresponding pixel circuit according to the data voltage compensation values of the sub-pixels, and at this moment, induced voltages of the sub-pixels are taken as initial reference voltages of the sub-pixels when the luminance parameter value of the display panel (11) is the set value; and at a subsequent compensation stage, by adjusting the data voltages of the sub-pixels, the induced voltages of the sub-pixels are enabled to equal the corresponding initial reference voltages when the luminance parameter value of the display panel (11) is the set value, thereby realizing luminance uniformity compensation for the sub-pixels during the subsequent compensation stage. This not only increases the uniformity and accuracy of initial luminance compensation, but also enables an accurate compensation for pixel aging and an improvement in the uniformity and accuracy of subsequent compensation. |
