A method and device for refreshing a playlist. The method comprises: monitoring a predetermined operation action (S110); if the predetermined operation action is detected to be executed for a number of times greater than a threshold, then sending a refresh request to a server (S120); and receiving and displaying, at a predetermined position, a playlist fed back by the server according to the refresh request (S130). The method can update a playlist according to a predetermined operation action in a timely manner, such that the playlist is more aligned with user preferences, and users do not waste time on a playlist not matching their interests, thus improving user experience.
