The present invention relates to an apparatus for preventing a sudden acceleration accident, which is electrically connected and installed between a fuel supply line of a vehicle and a starting device thereof, in which as a permanent magnet which faces a rotation magnet, rotated and returned by the supply and shut-off of electric current, maintains the same or different polarity as the rotation magnet by limited rotation and return of the rotation magnet, the fuel supply line is opened or closed by the movement of the permanent magnet to enable the vehicle to start or stop. Accordingly, once the vehicle engine speed reaches revolutions per minute which accidentally causes a sudden acceleration, the apparatus has an effect capable of nearly perfectly preventing a sudden acceleration accident by simply shutting off the fuel supply. |
