In an existing gas cooking device, a burner is not ignited even though normal manipulation for ignition is performed when igniting the burner while a cooking container is not placed on the burner. The burner is ignited later when a compulsory ignition switch (3) is pushed. Accordingly, the burner is ignited by pushing the compulsory ignition switch (3) which is totally different from the normal manipulation for ignition, thereby causing inconvenience. The ignition of the burner is allowed by canceling ignition prevention by an ignition preventing means when the burner is manipulated for ignition by pushing an ignition and fire-extinguishment button (2) while the compulsory ignition switch (3) is pushed. The purpose of the present invention is to provide the gas cooking device with the burner ignited without inconvenience when the cooking container is not placed on the burner. |
