A wire (1) for geotechnical use is described, for making protecting nets (10), made of high strength steel. The wire is at least partially shaped in a waveform and comprises a plurality of crests (2) and valleys (3) arranged alternately one to another. A protecting net is described, usable in the geotechnical field, comprising a wire at least partially shaped in a waveform according to the present invention, for making the mesh (11), and/or as a reinforcing element (11a) of the net (10). An anchoring device (50), a guywire (60) and an energy dissipating device (70) are also described, each comprising a plurality of wires (1) at least partially shaped in a waveform according to the present invention. |
