PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface coating method of using a fireproof coating agent being higher in heat resistance than paint including an organic binder, and capable of securing uniformity of decorativeness and construction being not inferior to a siding.SOLUTION: The surface coating method uses the fireproof coating agent of imparting fire-proofness to a surface of a solid phase coating body including an organic substance, and comprises a process (S100-S106) of sticking a solvent inner dispersion element of a flaked laminar clay mineral to the surface of the solid phase coating body and a process (S108 and S110) of forming and coating a composite body of joining a void between clay mineral particles by glass by coating ordinary temperature curable glass on the surface of the solid phase coating body stuck with the laminar clay mineral. |
