PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a liquid crystal polyester film excellent in thermal conductivity.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for producing a liquid crystal polyester film, the method comprising the steps of: (1) casting a liquid composition containing a liquid crystal polyester having a flow starting temperature of 290°C or more and a solvent on a support film, followed by removing the solvent partially to obtain a laminate (1) having the support and a liquid crystal polyester precursor containing 3 to 12 mass% of the solvent; and (2) raising the temperature of the laminate (1) from the boiling point of -50°C of the solvent to 280°C in five minutes, followed by heat treating at 280 to 380°C to obtain a laminate (2) having the support and a liquid crystal polyester film. |
