PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To embed a marker in an image or a video image without impairing the design of contents, the marker being used for converting an image or a video image to which projective transformation has been applied, into an original image or video image.SOLUTION: A marker embedding device includes: an image input part for inputting one or more continuous images; a marker superposing part for superposing a marker on the image, the marker including a predetermined gradation pattern in a color component that is unlikely to be perceived, in the image; an information superposing part for superposing information relating to the image on a partial region determined from a positional relation with the marker; and an embedded image output part for outputting an image on which the marker and the information relating to the image are superposed. In the marker, a plurality of linear band-like regions are disposed at different positions and with different inclinations. For color components in the plurality of linear band-like regions, color differences are determined which are different from color components in the other regions of the marker. A compound ratio determined from a combination of intersections between straight lines crossing all the plurality of linear band-like regions and the linear band-like regions is a fixed value. |
