PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to determine in which operation mode an air conditioner main body is to operate at a time of selecting an automatic operation mode, and to easily discriminate whether the air conditioner main body normally operates before the operation starts.SOLUTION: A remote controller includes: a transmitter/receiver unit 15 holding two-way communications with an air conditioner main body; a display unit 14 displaying an operation control screen for controlling the air conditioner main body to operate; an operation key unit 13 for instructing the air conditioner main body to operate in an automatic operation mode; and a remote controller control unit 11 controlling the display unit 14 to display the operation control screen and operation information from the air conditioner main body, and transmitting an automatic-operation start signal to the air conditioner main body through the transmitter/receiver unit 15 if an instruction to operate in the automatic operation mode is received from the operation key unit 13. The remote controller control unit 11 transmits the automatic-operation start signal, and displays such an indication that determination is being made while determining which operation the air conditioner main body is to perform, heating operation or cooling operation. |
