PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gripper which can stably grips containers of multiple kinds each having a thin-walled collar without tilting and rotating the containers.SOLUTION: In a gripper 10 comprising a pair of movable holders 20, 21, a neck part 101 of a container 100 can be freely taken in and out the gripper during opening, and a collar 102 formed on the neck part 101 is gripped from the front and rear thereof whereby the neck part 10 is gripped by the gripper during closing. Each of the movable holders 20, 21 comprises: an upper gripping wall 22a which is disposed so as to face the front side of the collar 102; a lower gripping wall 22b which is disposed so as to face the reverse side of the collar 102; a gripping groove 22c which is provided between the upper gripping wall 22a and the lower gripping wall 22b and into which the collar 102 is inserted when the neck part 101 is gripped; a pressing body 30 which is provided in the gripping groove 22c and which presses the collar 102 towards the upper gripping wall 22a or the lower gripping wall 22b by an elastic force when the collar 102 is inserted. |
