The present invention is an electrostatic coupling-type non-contact power supply device comprising: a power supply electrode provided in a fixed section; a power-receiving electrode provided in a movable section movably mounted on the fixed section, separated from and facing the power supply electrode, and receiving high-frequency power in a non-contact manner; a power-reception circuit that converts the high-frequency power received by the power-receiving electrode and supplies same to an electric load upon the movable section. The power supply electrode comprises a plurality of split electrodes extending in the movement direction of the movable section and mutually arranged, and also comprises: a current detection and comparison unit that detects and mutually compares each current value for the current that flows to each split electrode; and an error determination unit that determines the existence of errors on the basis of the comparison results from the current detection and comparison unit. As a result, errors such as contamination between electrodes by foreign matter can be detected quickly at an early stage, power supply reliability can be increased, the location of errors can be identified, and maintenance can be performed easily and effectively. |
