The present invention relates to a method for regulating the growth of and/or enhancing crop plants, comprising applying to the plants a plant growth regulator and a seaweed extract, wherein the auxin to cytokinin ratio of the seaweed extract is at least 100:1, and wherein the plant growth regulator is selected from the group consisting of trinexapac-ethyl and prohexadione-calcium. The present invention also relates to a plant growth regulating and/or crop enhancing composition, comprising the same and to the use of the plant growth regulating and/or crop enhancing composition, comprising the same in a synergistically effective amount. |
