The invention relates to a device for assisting blood circulation, meant to be used in medicine, for patients suffering from cardiac disorders. According to the invention, the device comprises a case (4) in which there is a brushless permanent magnet electric motor (1) consisting of a tubular rotor (5) accommodating a helical pump (2), a stator (6) and some magnetic bearings (7) made of two components (10, 11) that allow the rotor (5) to be maintained suspended inside the stator (6), the electric motor (1) being supplied by an electronic circuit (3) which receives through an antenna (16) the energy transmitted by an external source, by electromagnetic resonance, a part of this energy being distributed to a storage battery (17) meant to provide operation autonomy, in case of external source failure, the blood being pumped in parallel with the heart, thereby eliminating the cellular crushing and infection risk. |
