The invention relates to a short femoral stem cervical endoprosthesis for the hip joint, with application in surgery. According to the invention, the endoprosthesis consists of a cylindrical body (1) made of austenitic stainless steel or magnesium alloy, coated with a hydroxyapatite-type biocompatible material, provided with a helical spiral (2) and continued by a sleeve (5) in the shape of a truncated cone, with an externally threaded collar (6), while inside it has a hexagonal orifice (7) for a screw driver to be introduced therein for fastening purposes and a cylindrical orifice (8) provided with some cross orifices (3 and 4), horizontally shifted by an angle which can vary between 90° and 180°, allowing an orthopedic cement to be introduced and fixed. |
