A park brake control assembly for a rail vehicle having a brake pipe, a distributor, an air supply reservoir, one or more brake cylinders and one or more pneumatically operated park brakes, the distributor and the park brake control assembly each having an output port, wherein the park brake control assembly includes a plurality of valves including a first valve being responsive to brake pipe air pressure and a second valve responsive to either or both: (a) air pressure in the output port of the distributor; (b) air pressure in the output port of the assembly. |
