An unused commodity object information processing method and device. The method comprises: a server establishing a candidate commodity object set according to released and unsold personal unused commodity objects and dynamically maintaining same (S101); when a commodity object list display page browsing request submitted by a client of a first user is received, determining individualized preference information about the first user (S102); determining at least one target commodity object meeting a pre-set condition according to the candidate commodity object set and the individualized preference of the first user (S103); and generating an individualized commodity object list according to the target commodity object information, and providing the individualized commodity object list for the client of the first user (S104), so that the client of the first user can display the individualized commodity object list in the page. By means of the method, users' demands of an unused commodity object trading platform can be described more accurately.
