A caliper capable of automatic reading and a use method therefor. The caliper capable of automatic reading comprises a graduated ruler (11), a first detection head (12), and a second detection head (13). The first detection head (12) is fixedly provided at an extremity of the graduated ruler (11). The second detection head (13) is sleeved on the graduated ruler (11) via a sliding shoe (14) and is capable of sliding back and forth along the graduated ruler (11). Provided on the sliding shoe (14) are a data collecting sensor (15) used for reading the scale values on the graduated ruler (11) and a positioning element (16) used for positioning the sliding position of the sliding shoe (14). Also provided on the sliding shoe (14) are a speaker (17) and a switch (18) used for controlling sound production of the speaker (17). A battery and a processing circuit board are provided within the sliding shoe (14). The use method comprises data measurement and data reading. The caliper capable of automatic reading is accurate in measuring values and capable of automatic reading. Also, the use method is simple and increases the convenience of measurement. |
