The present invention provides a system for providing a life log service and a method for providing the life log service. According to one embodiment of the present invention, a computing device may include: a content generating unit which generates life content of a user based on a position and a time; a user input unit which receives an input of the user; a display which includes a display region displaying a map and a second display region displaying the life content of the user: and a controller which updates the map to a map in which a path synchronized with the generated life content of the user by displaying the map on the basis of a current position of the computing device in the first display region and time-sequentially displaying the life content of the user generated whenever the life content of the user is generated by the content generating unit in the second display region.
