PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular traction control system and a vehicular traction control method capable of initiating traction control at an appropriate timing even if a wheel speed of one of plural wheels cannot be accurately computed.SOLUTION: When a speed difference between two wheel speeds other than a minimum wheel speed Vwmin exceeds a first comparative speed Vth (Yes at step S13), and a difference obtained by subtracting a reference speed Vb from a wheel speed Vw exceeds a second comparative speed Vstart (Yes at step S15), a control system permits implementation of traction control (step S16). When the speed difference is equal to or lower than the first comparative speed Vth (No at step S13), the control system inhibits the implementation of traction control (step S17). |
