[Class 75 (iii).] A removable torch 14 is screwed at 26 in a sleeve 13 adapted to slide outwardly in the barrel 12 to expose a pyrophoric member 25 along which the torch is rubbed to effect ignition, and a mechanical pencil 10, fountain pen, lip stick, manicure implement or the like is fitted to the other end of the barrel. The torch comprises an asbestos or other absorbent-sleeve 32 held by fingers 31 of a sleeve 27 around a central steel rod 23 terminating in a striker 24, the sleeve 27 being held rotatably on the rod by an indentation 29 engaging an annular groove 28. The sleeve 13 is held against rotation by a pin 20 engaging in a slot 21 and is provided with a felt or other absorbent lining 19. |
