A light-emitting device includes a light-emitting element emitting blue light, a green phosphor emitting green light when being excited by the blue light, and a red phosphor emitting red light when being excited by the blue light. An emission spectral peak wavelength of the green light emitted by the green phosphor is greater than or equal to 520 nm and less than or equal to 540 nm.

a light-emitting element that emits blue light; a quantum dot phosphor that emits green light when being excited by the blue light; and an Mn4+-activated fluoride complex phosphor that emits red light when being excited by the blue light, wherein an emission spectral peak wavelength of the green light emitted by the quantum dot phosphor is greater than or equal to 520 nm and less than or equal to 540 nm, and wherein the Mn4+-activated fluoride complex phosphor lacks significant excitation at 520 nm and longer wavelengths.
