摘要 A liquid crystal display (10) comprises a GOA substrate (20), and the GOA substrate (20) comprises a pixel array region (203) and a circuit placement region (201). The liquid crystal display (10) comprises: multiple gate driving units (18(1)-18(n)) disposed on the circuit placement region (201) and configured to output, according to voltage level values of clock signals (CK(1)-CK(n)) and control signals (STV(1)-STV(n)), scanning signals (G(1)-G(n)) to the pixel array region (203); and a detection circuit (30) configured to output an adjustment signal if an output signal (GOA_FB_L, GOA_FB_R) of the last stage (18(n)) of the gate driving units is smaller than a predetermined value (Vth). A voltage level adjuster (40) outputs the multiple clock signals (CK(1)-CK(n)) at a low voltage level and the control signals (STV(1)-STV(n)) at a low voltage level to the multiple gate driving units (18(1)-18(n)) upon receiving of the adjustment signal, such that the multiple gate driving units (18(1)-18(n)) stop outputting the scanning signals (G(1)-G(n)). In this way, the liquid crystal display (10) is temporarily turned off to show a black screen, thus preventing the GOA substrate (20) from a permanent overheat damage.
