The present invention relates to a biopsy kit that is useful in the diagnostic process of oncology patients in order to direct biopsies in tissues having metabolic activity in studies with positron-emitting radiopharmaceuticals, and wherein morphological alterations are not seen in structural radiological studies. It also makes it possible to increase the profitability of punch biopsies in structural lesions with different areas of metabolic activity. It resolves the problem of guiding the biopsy needle with positron emission imaging, without the need for conventional X-ray imaging for support, since the elements that make up the kit can be seen in the positron emission image.
