The invention relates to an adjustable pedal (10) for a motor vehicle, comprising a pedal arm (12) which is mounted rotatably on a bearing block, a pedal basic body (14) which is mounted adjustably relative to the pedal arm (12), and also a pedal plate (16) which is arranged at the lower end of the pedal basic body (14) and has an actuating surface (18), wherein the pedal basic body (14) is mounted on the pedal arm (12) so as to be adjustable in such a manner that an adjustment brings about an arcuate movement of the pedal basic body (14) and of the pedal plate (16) arranged therein. The invention is distinguished in that the pedal plate (16) is mounted on the pedal basic body (14) so as to be rotatable about a pivot point (20), wherein the pedal plate (16) is operatively connected to means which bring about a forcibly guided rotational movement of the pedal plate (16) about the pivot point (20) during an adjustment movement of the pedal basic body (14) relative to the pedal arm (12). |
