An ultra-broadband channel estimation method and device. The method comprises: processing, according to a predefined matrix, a transmission signal to acquire a corresponding vector signal; converting, by a pulse signal generator, the vector signal into a corresponding pulse signal; processing, via an ultra-broadband channel, the pulse signal to acquire a corresponding received signal; checking the received signal to acquire a characteristic of the ultra-broadband channel. The preceding scheme can enhance flexibility and accuracy of channel estimation, and reduce power consumption. |
