A method of realizing forging of a forging blank without trimming. The method is characterized in utilization of a dedicated forging apparatus and dedicated forging die. The method particularly comprises the following steps: first, a heated blank is put into a lower die (25); when an upper die and the lower die (24, 25) are closed together, wedge die-clamping mechanisms clamp the upper and lower dies (24, 25); after the dies are clamped, electric screw mechanisms (2, 12) transversely disposed on a dedicated forging apparatus rapidly push extrusion mandrels to extrude the blank, such that the blank fills a die cavity to obtain a trimming-free blank; and then, the electric screw mechanisms (2, 12) drive the extrusion mandrels to return, thereby the wedge die-clamping mechanisms of the dedicated forging apparatus return, and lastly, a sliding block (10) returns, causing the trimming-free blank to be ejected by an ejecting mechanism. The blank forging process uses the dedicated forging apparatus, closes up the dies first and then performs impact extrusion to form the trimming-free blank, thereby greatly reducing forging process steps and also saving a great amount of raw materials. |
