[Class 141.] Combination u n d e r - garments of the union suit type, having an elastic strip 16 inserted between the upper and lower portions of the back of the garment, and a flap closure 18, are provided with a reinforcement 24 in line with the closure. This takes the strain during manipulation of the closure and also when the wearer bends the body. A second reinforcement 25 may also be provided. The reinforcements may take the form of pieces of doubled fabric of the same material as the elastic strip 16, and may be seamed in position simultaneously with the insertion of the elastic strip. |
