ULTRASOUND ELASTICITY IMAGING SYSTEM AND METHOD

Provided are an ultrasound elasticity imaging system and method. The system comprises: an emission-reception module (11) configured to emit an ultrasonic pulse to a test target (2) and receive an ultrasonic echo signal reflected by the test target (2); an imaging display module (13) configured to perform signal processing on the received ultrasonic echo signal and display an image (I) resulting from the processing; and a concern analysis module (15) configured to detect a region of interest (R) and a shell region (S) selected by an operator and from the image, calculate elasticity parameters of a reference region and the shell region (S), respectively, and perform an analysis on calculation results thereof and output an analysis result. After the operator selects the region of interest (R) from the image (I), the elasticity parameter of the shell region (S) is extracted and compared with elasticity parameters of other regions, thereby providing more information.
