PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid oxide fuel cell in which a reduction in the durability of a fuel cell due to lopsided degradation of a reforming catalyst is suppressed.SOLUTION: Provided is a solid oxide fuel cell device having: a combustion unit for burning a residual gas unused in power generation; a reformer 20 provided upward of the combustion unit and causing reforming reaction to occur by using combustion heat generated in the combustion unit and heat added by a combustion gas; a power generation/combustion chamber 18 containing the fuel battery cell, the combustion unit, and the reformer; and an opening 21a provided on a wall surface of the power generation/combustion chamber and upward from the top face of the reformer and collectively discharging the combustion gas from inside the power generation/combustion chamber, where the reformer has a shielding part extending from a side face of the reformer to the top face of the power generation/combustion chamber so as to prevent the combustion gas headed from the combustion unit to the opening from wrapping around from the side face to the top face of the reformer. |
