An apparatus (1) and method for cleaning a poultry carcass (2), wherein a conveyor (3) is applied for conveying the carcass along a track (A) and brush means (4) are positioned next to the track for brushing the carcass exterior, wherein the brush means are embodied with at least one rotatable drum (5), and to which drum brush hairs (6) are connected, such that opposite ends of said brush hairs are connected to said drum so as to arrange that said brush hairs form a closed loop with the drum. |
