PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of a fibrous adsorbent usable even in the sea water, and having high adsorption efficiency of a heavy metal or the like in the water.SOLUTION: There is provided a production method of a fibrous adsorbent containing alginate. The production method of a fibrous adsorbent includes a gelation step for obtaining gelatinous fibers by discharging an alginate aqueous solution containing monovalent alginate and an adsorbent into a calcium salt aqueous solution containing a calcium salt so as to be spun therefrom, and a drying step for drying the gelatinous fibers obtained in the gelation step.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
