The method involves receiving a property of objects and a substrate dependent receiver signal by a sensor element of a sensor unit. A depth slice image is calculated from the receiver signal by a control and evaluation unit. A display unit is provided for displaying the depth slice image. The sensor unit is provided for receiving another received signal with another sensor element. Another depth slice image is calculated from a latter received signal by the control and evaluation unit. An independent claim is included for an apparatus for detecting an object in the background. |
