[Class 18] [See also Group XII] A drawer-and-shell carton for cigarettes &c., is provided with a row of matches 18 formed by doubling over a portion of the front wall 16 of the drawer, slitting the doubled-over portion, and dipping the ends 20. Scorings 22 facilitate detachment of the matches. A striking surface is provided on the carton, e.g. on a side face of the shell, or on the front face of the wall 16 just below the matches. The shell may be open at one or both ends. |
