A laundry treating device comprises a shell with an opening portion for taking laundry out and putting the laundry in and a door (11) for opening and closing the opening portion. The door (11) comprises a supporting frame equipped with a hinge structure, a locking mechanism (47) and a cover opening operation portion (59). The cover opening operation portion (59) is formed by a pull handle portion (60) and a rotating shaft (70) for unlocking the locking mechanism (47).
