PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope which enables the operator to intuitively ensure that an insertion portion is rotated to a desired angle relative to the operation portion before using the endoscope.SOLUTION: The endoscope comprises: an operation-portion-side ferrule pipe 3P fixed to an operation portion body 3M; an insertion-portion-side ferrule pipe to which a flexible tube portion 7 of an insertion portion is integrally fixed; an index ring fixing member 22 which is rotatably arranged relative to the first pipe 3P and to which an index ring 20 is integrally fixed; a rotation knob fixing member 32 to which an insertion portion rotation knob 30 is integrally fixed and which is integrally fixed to the first pipe 3P; a sliding protrusion which comes into contact with any one of the index ring fixing member 22 and the rotation knob fixing member 32; a leaf spring provided with a fitting portion which is fixed to a member different from the member with which the protrusion comes into contact; and a through hole that is disposed at a predetermined position of the index ring fixing member 22 or the rotation knob fixing member 32 with which the protrusion comes into contact, and that changes the contact state of the protrusion according to the rotation of the insertion-portion-side ferrule pipe. |
