PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device which, when employing a developing roll in which a cylinder member rotationally carrying a magnetic developer is rotatably attached to a shaft part of a magnet member via bearings arranged in inside surface parts of disk-like end members fixed to both ends of the cylinder member and required parts projecting outward from the end members of the shaft part of the magnet member are fixed by a support member, allows suppression of bending of the shaft part of the magnet member in the developing roll.SOLUTION: In a developing device, at least one of a pair of end members fixed to both ends of a cylinder member has, in the center of an outside surface part of a disk-like body part thereof, a second recess which has a space allowing an end part of a fixing part of a support member to be put therein and to exist without contact with the fixing part. The fixing part of the support member on the side where the at least one end member exists is formed into such a shape that the end part of the fixing part is put in the second recess in the at least one end member and exists without contact with the end member. |
