The purpose of the present invention is to prevent the entry of foreign matter through a guide hole for a slider into an excess length absorbing case for a wire harness connected to a sliding seat. A wire harness routing device for a sliding seat is configured so that: an excess length absorbing case through which a wire harness routed to a sliding seat mounted on a vehicle is inserted will be horizontally installed on the floor side; and a slider through which the wire harness is inserted and which operates in coordination with the sliding seat will be slidably mounted in a guide hole for the slider, the guide hole being formed in the excess length absorbing case. The excess length absorbing case is shaped so as to be provided with a rectilinear rail section and a circular arc-shaped turn section which is provided at one end of the rail section. The opening of the guide hole for the slider is formed in a horizontally directed manner in the vertical peripheral wall of the rail section. The slider is shaped so that a horizontal cylinder section which fits in the guide hole is interconnected with the lower part of a vertical cylinder section. The wire harness is passed through the slider and inserted through the excess length absorbing case.
