A motor installation apparatus for a drum washing machine comprises first connecting devices arranged on an outer drum, second connecting devices arranged on a housing of a motor (2), and connecting pieces, the second connecting devices being connected to the first connecting devices through the connecting pieces. There are three first connecting devices, and the first connecting devices are arranged on an outer drum rear (1) in a triangular shape. The first connecting devices and the second connecting devices are arranged correspondingly in a triangular shape. According to the motor installation apparatus for a drum washing machine, the installation apparatus is designed and fixed by using the principle of triangle stability: three second connecting devices are arranged on the housing of the motor (2), and respectively match three first connecting devices arranged on the outer drum rear (1); the second connecting devices and the first connecting devices are connected and fixed by using connecting pieces. The three second connecting devices are arranged in a triangular shape, such that the motor (2) is simply and conveniently installed on a flange of the outer drum rear (1) of the drum washing machine; and installation across components is avoided, and the installation error is low.
