An automatic dose infusion apparatus (2) that is capable of electronically controlling a medicinal substance storage chamber (6) and a control chamber (8), electronically regulating infusion of the medicinal substance, and constantly maintaining a prescribed amount of medicinal substance on the basis of the number of rotations of a motor so that a patient can easily operate the automatic dose infusion apparatus so as to automatically infuse a dose of medicinal substance into himself/herself without regard to time and situation, and a method of controlling the same.
