The present invention addresses the problem of providing: a compound which, when used in an organic semiconductor film of an organic thin-film transistor, provides the organic thin-film transistor with high carrier mobility; an organic thin-film transistor material that uses the compound: an organic thin-film transistor composition; an organic thin-film transistor and method for producing the same; and an organic semiconductor film. The organic semiconductor film (organic semiconductor layer) in this organic thin-film transistor contains a compound represented by general formula (1).
