A self-erecting wrap-around type box constituting, in an unassembled state, a single plane in the shape of an unfolded polyhedron and having two main surfaces: a lid and a bottom; an upper and a lower panel; four side panels, two of which are adjoined to the bottom of the box by means of portions in the shape of an irregular trapezoid, wherein the bottom and the lid have different sizes, the bottom being 3 mm wider than the lid and 4 mm longer than the lid. The structure of the box makes it possible to assemble same when a product is positioned on the bottom of the box, without damaging the product. On the lower panel of the bottom, the box has two flaps in the form of hexagons with slots, which act as locks when a pressure is applied thereto. The box has perforated lines, along which the box is folded; also, the trapezoidal portions of the bottom of the box are located inside the box when the latter is assembled, securing an object located on the bottom of the box and preventing said object from being displaced. The box retains its structure and functionality at small internal dimensions. |
